Muddy Wellies Nursery is a friendly day nursery which offers places for children from 6 months to 4 years. The nursery is open from 7.30am until 6pm on Mondays to Fridays throughout the year.

Our setting celebrates the outdoors with a beautiful woodland area and outdoor garden areas, set just a few minutes walk from beautiful beaches. Children learn through a play-based curriculum which encourages them to develop vital skills through discovery and exploration.

Caterpillars

Our Caterpillar room is a safe and stimulating environment for babies aged 6 months to 2 years. The bright, spacious room has a purpose built sleep room and an interactive outdoor garden area. Children engage in a variety of sensory and exploratory activities whilst developing key early milestones and early language and communication skills.

Butterflies & Ladybirds

Our main room at Muddy Wellies Nursery is a spacious and stimulating environment for Butterflies (2 years to 3 years) and Ladybirds (3 years to 4 years). The room is bright and engaging and has dedicated areas to develop key skills. A separate room called ‘The Woodland Den’ promotes a love of early reading skills and is used for quiet time and group sessions. The extensive outdoor garden area encourages exploratory and imaginative play and includes a purpose-built mud kitchen.

Bumblebees

The Bumblebees room is dedicated specifically for our pre-school children. The focus is on preparing our children to be ‘school ready’ whilst still ensuring that the children learn through a language rich, play based curriculum. Children are introduced to a range of structured activities which promote independence and develop collaborative skills.
