YMCA South Devon May Ball Raises £2,120
YMCA South Devon is delighted to announce the success of its May Ball 2026, which raised an incredible £2,120 to support the young people and families who access its services across the local community.
Held at The Grand Hotel, Torquay, the evening brought together supporters, local businesses, community partners and guests for a night of entertainment, fundraising and celebration. Guests enjoyed live music from Soul Funktion, a charity auction, raffle and plenty of opportunities to connect, all while supporting a cause close to the hearts of many.
The success of the event would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many people. YMCA South Devon would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who attended, donated prizes, sponsored the event, contributed to the charity auction and raffle, volunteered their time, and helped behind the scenes to make the evening such a memorable occasion.
Special thanks also go to The Grand Hotel, Torquay, for hosting the event and providing a fantastic setting for the evening, as well as the many local businesses and organisations whose donations and support helped make the fundraising efforts such a success.
The funds raised will directly support YMCA South Devon’s work with young people and families, helping to provide opportunities, support services and positive outcomes across the community.
Following the success of this year’s event, planning is already underway for the May Ball 2027. The event will return to The Grand Hotel, Torquay, on Saturday 8th May 2027, with popular live band Soul Funktion once again providing the evening’s entertainment.
YMCA South Devon is looking forward to building on this year’s success and creating an even bigger and better event in 2027. Businesses and organisations interested in sponsorship opportunities, prize donations or supporting the event in other ways are encouraged to get in touch.
Further details and ticket information for May Ball 2027 will be announced in due course.
